It's difficult for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The top summits have long been mastered.

This is the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, plus six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, targeted by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a side that has won it all.

That it took as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the pitchers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It is hard for their batters to hold a record if never given the possibility.

"An opportunity to go out there and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment in that aspect, kind of motivated me," stated Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 deliveries - her fastest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 as she attacked short-pitched balls, striking 21 boundaries and three sixes.

When she was dismissed the team needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the belief to do that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, should it happen, we know we can do it."

Those words will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this tournament need to hear.

During the last week a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this victory following win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a last-four spot may well be secure.

During that phase they were eliminated from last year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she led her country for the inaugural occasion at a significant event.

So strong is her resolve, she later said she regretted not playing despite the injury.

However although she subsequently acknowledged those fitness problems have postponed plans to retire, this championship is likely to be her concluding event as leader in one-day cricket and she is yet to win a world championship as captain.

Victory in India would bring her to the top of her last major obstacle.
